1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FuturesLedger (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FuturesLedger is a web-based trading journal platform with an optional browser extension. The Service allows you to log, organize, and analyze futures trades. The Service is not a broker, financial advisor, or trading platform. We do not execute trades on your behalf.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • One person may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without written permission

5. Billing & Subscriptions

  • Free Trial. New members receive a 7-day free trial of the Member plan. A valid credit or debit card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged during the 7-day trial period.
  • Automatic Billing. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your card will be automatically charged the applicable subscription fee (currently $14.99/month) on the day the trial expires, and monthly thereafter.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from your Billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.
  • Payment Processing. All payments are processed securely by Stripe. FuturesLedger does not store your full card details.
  • No Refunds. All charges are final and non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges, but no refunds will be issued for any prior billing period. If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks of FuturesLedger are owned by us. Your trade data remains yours. By using the Service you grant us a limited license to process and store your data solely to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of analytics, or suitability for any particular purpose. FuturesLedger is not a substitute for professional financial advice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FuturesLedger and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently. You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
