1. Information We Collect

When you create a FuturesLedger account we collect your email address and an encrypted password hash. When you log trades we store the trade details you provide (instrument, entry/exit prices, notes, screenshots, strategy tags). If you link your Discord account or invite our Discord bot to a server, we store your Discord user ID, the Discord server (guild) ID, and the configured review channel ID so the bot can deliver trade posts and authorize review submissions. We also collect basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the FuturesLedger service
  • To authenticate your identity and protect your account
  • To send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts)
  • To send occasional product updates (you may opt out at any time)
  • To improve our service through aggregated, anonymized analytics

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (powered by PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. All connections use TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Screenshots are stored in private Supabase Storage buckets accessible only by authenticated owners.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
  • Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your full card number)
  • Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
  • Railway — hosting for the FuturesLedger Discord bot runtime
  • Discord — delivery of trade posts and review interactions to servers where you install our bot (subject to Discord's Privacy Policy)
  • Sentry — error monitoring (anonymized stack traces only)
  • SendGrid — transactional and marketing email delivery

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly page-view analytics that does not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

6. Chrome Extension

The FuturesLedger Mini browser extension only activates on TradingView pages. It stores your Supabase session token in chrome.storage.local and communicates exclusively with our API at futuresledger.com and your Supabase project. It does not read browsing history or access data on other websites.

7. Discord Bot

The FuturesLedger Discord bot is an optional integration that posts your community-submitted trades to a Discord server channel of your choice and allows other linked FuturesLedger members to review them from within Discord.

When you use the bot we process the following data:

  • Discord user ID — collected when you link your Discord account during FuturesLedger sign-in, so we can identify you when you click the “Review Trade” button in Discord.
  • Discord server (guild) ID and channel ID — stored when a server administrator runs /futuresledger setup so the bot knows where to post trades.
  • Trade content — when you submit a trade for community review, the trade's symbol, side, P&L, entry/exit prices, setup notes, and chart screenshots are sent to the configured Discord channel. By submitting a trade for community review you consent to this data being posted to the Discord server(s) you have configured.
  • Short-lived review tokens — when a Discord member clicks the “Review Trade” button, we mint a single-use, 30-minute token bound to their FuturesLedger user ID. The token exists solely to authorize that one review submission and is invalidated after use.

The bot does not read arbitrary Discord messages, access message history, or ingest content from channels other than those you explicitly configure. The bot uses Discord's Guild Members privileged intent only to verify that the trader posting a trade is a member of the target server; member lists are not retained.

When you delete your FuturesLedger account or unlink your Discord account, we remove your Discord user ID and any unused review tokens from our systems. Existing trade posts already delivered to Discord channels remain in those channels and are governed by Discord's own data policies; you may ask your server administrator to delete them.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile settings page. Upon deletion, all your trade data, screenshots, Discord linkage, and personal information will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained. Review tokens are auto-expired after 30 minutes and purged on a rolling basis.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@futuresledger.com.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of FuturesLedger after changes constitutes acceptance.
