1. Information We Collect
When you create a FuturesLedger account we collect your email address and an encrypted password hash. When you log trades we store the trade details you provide (instrument, entry/exit prices, notes, screenshots, strategy tags). We also collect basic usage analytics (page views, feature usage) to improve the product.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the FuturesLedger service
- To authenticate your identity and protect your account
- To send transactional emails (password resets, billing receipts)
- To send occasional product updates (you may opt out at any time)
- To improve our service through aggregated, anonymized analytics
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase (powered by PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. All connections use TLS encryption. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Screenshots are stored in private Supabase Storage buckets accessible only by authenticated owners.
4. Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage
- Stripe — payment processing (we never see or store your full card number)
- Vercel — hosting and edge delivery
- Sentry — error monitoring (anonymized stack traces only)
- SendGrid — transactional and marketing email delivery
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication session management. We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-friendly page-view analytics that does not use cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
6. Chrome Extension
The FuturesLedger Mini browser extension only activates on TradingView pages. It stores your Supabase session token in chrome.storage.local and communicates exclusively with our API at futuresledger.com and your Supabase project. It does not read browsing history or access data on other websites.
7. Data Retention & Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile settings page. Upon deletion, all your trade data, screenshots, and personal information will be permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated analytics may be retained.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, email support@futuresledger.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of FuturesLedger after changes constitutes acceptance.
